I agree that is a bit big for Limacodidae, but you beastie does not have the star of spikes on the tubercle tips that characterise the larvae of Opodiphthera, and you are a bit south for all the other species in Saturniidae. The little spikes on the tubercles are quite like those on the larvae of some of the genera in Limacodidae: e.g. Anaxidia, Calcarifera, and Comana. I only know the larvae of 14 of the 117 named species in Limacocidae, so I think your beastie is one of the other 103.
