Not sure Aaron, it's not showing the distinctive recurved appearance of a shepherd's crook of G. sesamoides in bud, nor can I tell whether the flower buds are smooth or rough and warty. Another possibilty is G. procera. But since it presumably came in with soil or mulch it could be one of a number of species.

For consistencies sake, I will confirm this as G sesamoides, as other urban Gastrodia have been labelled, while acknowledging that there may be other species involved.
