It probably is. However, I need more information before confirming it. In Geranium solanderi the petals are 5-12mm long, and the sepals are 2-5 mm wide, without a mucro (short point). In Geranium neglectum, the petals are 13-15mm long, and the sepals are 1-2.5 mm wide, with a distinct mucro. In Geranium potentilloides, the petals are 5-6mm long, and the sepals are 1-2.5 mm wide, with a distinct mucro. At Cotter, the more likely variety of Geranium potentilloides is var. potentilloides, which has bracteoles usually about halfway along the flower stalk (peduncle plus pedicel), and brown seeds with small pits.

I think it must be G. solanderi based on your detailed information as I can see that the sepals are quite wide-probably about 3mm wide. The petals were about 8mm long.

Thanks for those great Id tips Betty - I've always had trouble readily telling apart the local geraniums.
