First and only known colony of this species on the mountain. Never previously recorded at Mount Majura. Congrats!
User's notes
I believe the first record of C. incurva on Mt Majura. Very small, but dense patch of a little over 100 leaves, with about 5-10 in flower. More and better photos are sure to come.

Matt you have just created history :) This find significantly increases the known diversity of the mountain and takes it up to a whole new level as helmet orchids are considered so rare in the ACT. Congratulations mate.

I just got back from Matt showing me the colony, it is impressive. Easily missed, because it is not a huge area in terms of dimensions, but it seems a very dense colony, more so than the ones I've seen at BM. It has a LOT of leaves in a relatively small area. The surrounding area looks very fertile and with the right type of conditions, so I wonder if it was combed more broadly, there is the possibility of finding other colonies or C. hispida.
