Hi KL, Did you receive an error when uploading this sighting? I've noticed it is completely missing any location... Theoretically, the system should never allow this to happen, so I'm keen to try to track down the cause. Cheers Aaron.

It's not showing a location but it does have a suburb and also links to a timeline sighting so the system must have some form of location data...

The photo has no location data. But KL is a Trusted contributor, so perhaps he/she did something manually?

it is a nesting site

Right, of course. However, location should show for admin and species moderators. Also, the 'Additional details - Nesting Site "True" ' box that used to show up is not showing up. Something for Aaron to look into I suppose.

I got a message from to remove the location details from Chris Davey via email from Jacky Fogerty. I am unable to edit the record anymore.

As long as the nesting site box is checked the location should be suppressed automatically from the public. I don't know what has happened to the location for this sighting.

Hi Aaron
I've been able to duplicate the problem, see:
http://canberra.naturemapr.org/Community/Sighting/3389121

What I did was put in the sighting of the larvae case. Then I went into Edit and just cleared the GPS details.
I guess this is something which should be illegal in Edit.
Cheers
Michael

Hi KL
Can you please do us a favour and put in the sighting again. But this time just tick the box which says - "Was this a nesting or breeding site?"
This one can't be fixed, so we will have to delete this one after you have done it.
Thanks
Michael
