Myrmecia simillima (A Bull Ant)

Myrmecia simillima seems to be an unusually peace-loving bull ant - they are not very agressive and tend to hide in their nests when disturbed. This behaviour is in contrast to sister ants such as Myrmecia nigriceps, who are quick to rally the troops and attack!
