Leptogeneia bicristata (Tufted Twirler)

The adult moths of this species have pale grey forewings each with dark streaks and two ragged tufted black and yellow patches. The hindwings are a shiny pale brown. The wingspan is about 1.2 cm.The species has been found in Australia in  Queensland, New South Wales, Tasmania, and  Western Australia.
