In grassy woodland east of the high transmission power line easement; cut and sprayed some sprayed without cutting; mapped with Field Maps Treated Weeds. I noticed a significant invasion of Serrated tussock following the disturbance associated with the replacement of the power poles years ago. The power line crop was allowed to seed for consecutive years. Given that the main wind direction in summer i.e. when the STs seed are westerlies it is highly likely that the source of the major infestation east of the power line invasion was in fact the crop along the power line. Reported many times in the past.
