User's notes

In grassy woodland; patches of Chilean Needle Grass; regrowth after spraying in winter 2023; mapped with Field Maps Untreated weeds. Parks staff believe in miracles namely that after spraying pure stands of CNG native grass will germinate and therefore prohibit volunteers to use mulch because this would suppress the germination of grass seeds (which is exactly what we wanted before direct seeding native ground cover). I have no indication of Parks surveying the result of work and assume that in a couple of years the CNG situation will be as bad as it was and will threaten once again volunteers restoration efforts nearby.
