User's notes

The Baldys' chick/s have hatched! Yesterday (27 November), for the first time, John saw both parents away from the hollow at the same time. This morning, I watched them both fly in together from the north and land a short distance from the hollow (arrowed in second image). They both sat there quietly for almost 10 minutes before Baldy flew to the hollow, perched briefly on the edge, then went in (third image). He stayed in there for about 20 minutes and feeding sounds were clearly heard. Mrs B then flew across and landed just above the hollow (main image). Baldy emerged shortly after and flew off and she went in. She stayed inside for about 10 minutes and possibly did some more feeding and then came out and sat in the entrance
