If correct, it would not be surprising, because the former Horticultural unit of ACT Parks and Conservation Service, planted a lot of rare or uncommon Eucalypts in the Weston Creek to inner South area.

@natureguy I sampled some more fruits and added the photo to this record. Then I used the EUCLID app again, and it resulted in E. camfieldii . So more likely E.camfieldii than E. bensonii also due to the size. E. bensonii is a small mallee. E.camfieldii can be a tree to 10m. They are closely related but E. bensonii has 'stubby buds', implying shorter than E.camfieldii.

Awesome, thanks @Steve818, happy to go with your updated advice and expertise. I had a brief look at the time to double check but didn't look too in depth I will admit, Having another look I think you are right here. Also I think E. camfieldii is more of an actual "tree" as this appears to be, E. bensonii doesn't get quite as big I don't think. If you can find any immature leaves that would be a real ID clincher. @Tapirlord any final thoughts on this one?

I don't love this as E.camfieldii, that species is mean't to have fruit with discs raised above the valves which this plant doesn't. It is also normally a mallee, or least seems to be shorter than the tree pictured from the other images of this species online that I am seeing.

For what it is worth, I keyed it to Eucalyptus mackintii in Euclid (though noting that I am working off photos of course).

@Tapirlord - it is a dual trunk tree of about 6m tall. The buds match E.camfieldii, oblong with ridges. Using EUCLID on the bud characteristics, stringybark bark, and glossy green leaves - I ended up at E,camfieldii and E.bensonii. So unsure. I will look for juvenile leaves when I get a chance.
