Hi Alison, Iridomyrmex is a good suggestion, but these are probably Doleromyrma, a related genus. To quote AntWiki, "Workers of Doleromyrma are similar in overall size and body shape to those of Acropyga, Arnoldius , Plagiolepis, Tapinoma and Technomyrmex" and being so small it's hard to get photos of with enough detail to be sure about the ID.
