Noticed this weird hybrid. It has leaves that appear to be a mix of two common plants up here on Mt Majura. Not sure of the names of either. Possibly native indigo and wattle? The leaves were combined over the entire plant. Some entirely one variety, some just the other and then this one which appeared to be a combo of the two types.

A.rubida or A.implexa, this is young juvenile growth succeeding into adult phyllodes.

Most likely A. implexa at that site. There is a group of A. rubida close to lower dam which were planted long time ago (probably when the underground service lines for the summit air beacon were installed). I haven't seen them spreading. The phyllodes i.e. leaf-like structures in the background look more like implexa to me (don't ask me why).
