A. nicothoe seems generally to have darker outlines to the white spots, and more prominent dark transverse lines than this specimen. The scalloped marginal patterns are like A. postica?

I'm not convinced its A' postica, which appears to be a quite rare species. The few examples of A. postica I can see online appear to have two lines of scalloping, whereas this moth seems to have just one line of light-coloured scalloping. Looking at a range of examples within the Anthela (genus) on the Moths of Victoria (Part 1) supporting disc, I think some examples (eg. on the supporting disc 3/3 for A. repleta) look quiter similar to this specimen, although the features similar are better defined in this specimen than on the disc.
