It could be. Both species are very similar with the main distinguishing features being the size of the lemma body (up to 3mm in R. monticola and >3mm in R. erianthum). My suggestion is tentative and I would like a second opinion before I make a confirmation.

I could take a measuring device although Iā€™m not sure I could find the right clump of grass. Hopefully someone will call it one species or another. Thanks!

Apart from lemma length, setae tend to be quite short in monticola (2-4mm) compared to erianthum (about 6mm), so without a lemma length I'd support R erianthum, as these setae are long
