This is a known infestation that has beenne treated in the past but we are trying to at least contain this species at this location, so any record is helpful to achieving this.

User's notes

Fairly widespread on both sides of the road here, seems well established. Location approximate, GPS didnt work since it was out of range.

@nath_kay since 2016 this is a known area of infestation with some control in the past - this is one you want to keep on top of.

Thanks Michael. We went for a walk down at Yankee Hat and saw the rangers spraying and had a chat to them - they were focusing on Nodding Thistle. Unfortunately we only stumbled across the Cinquefoil on the way out so I didn't have the chance to mention it to the rangers.

Hi all, thanks for the records, these are always valuable for us to know. We actually have contractors in the Gudgenby area at the moment treating two species of Potentilla. Unfortunately they have made a run post-fire but we are making it a priority species for treatment. Another that is getting treated at the same time is Rose Campion. Thanks again, Nathan
