User's notes

Developing seeds. The area has been mapped with Field Maps. FoMM reported ALG in this area over the past 10+ years to PCS. It was spreading greatly in the past 3 LaNina years. Track maintenance work (2nd photo) assisted the spread of ALG and so does slashing particularly in the peak seeding stage. Earlier reports of ALG at this particular site https://canberra.naturemapr.org/sightings/4437748 June 2022 and March 2021 More reports per email with photos or verbally; FoMM controls (monitor, spot spray, dig out) ALG in the reserve further east/southeast and requested PCS several times to not slash this area when in peak seeding stage. Slashers and track maintenance people seem to be not aware that they distribute seeds. As per this past season, track work and slashing were carried out during peak seeding time which ensures a further and faster spread of ALG.
