While the ACT has three species of Gastrodia the other two species are normally found at higher altitudes. That mulch is pine but assumedly the required mycorrhizal fungi is produced. There are some warty exterior bumps but not unlike those seen on sesamoides and less extensive to those on G. procera. There appears to considerable variation in size distribution between plants with the larger one appearing c. 500 mm would this be correct?
A particular distinguishing feature of G. sesamoides is the hooked stem while in bud, which I can not see. All these stems, still in bud, have straightened.
While considering these difficulties, I believe on the evidence available I can confirm this record.

I have collected two plants, which I shall lodge at the Aust National Herbarium (IC 10541).
