A bit like searching for glossy black cockatoos - listen for the crunching, the dropping of nuts, and estimate the freshness of the chewings on the ground. A couple of groups of gang gangs (6 and later 8) in the early morning - eating blue gum?

Yep thanks they are eating Blue Gums Eucalyptus globulus subsp bicostata
