Perhaps a shot of the underside? - although I'm not sure it's diagnostic The shot of the hindwing from above is useful suggesting S. aplectaria, but I'm not sure,

Thank you. I'm wondering - is there anything further that I can provide for ID? The moth is still captive

Great work and congratulations on rearing the moth and larvae.
Identification of your moth and larvae is somewhat uncertain , probably Smyroides (genus). Smyroides undescribed species nr aplectaria seems to most commonly recorded similar species locally.
There are photos for S. trigramma larvae on LBH, see below
https://lepidoptera.butterflyhouse.com.au/dipt/trigramma.html
but they seem to be green in colour and interstingly somewhat different to your red larvae at 4594083.
There is a photo for the underside of your moth specimen on LBH which is a close match to your underside photo for S. aplectaria
https://lepidoptera.butterflyhouse.com.au/dipt/aplectaria.html
There don't seem to be larval photos on LBH for S. aplectaria.

@LisaH Hi Lisa, Yes keep the photo of the two but add the comment that it is for size comparison. :-) - Oh, which you have done.
