My understanding is that there are 4 species of snow daisy in the ACT, the Celmisia asteliifolia complex (C. costiniana, C. pugioniformis, C. tomentella) and what used to be called C.longifolia but is now known by an interim name [Celmisia sp. Pulchella (M.Gray & C.Totterdell 7079)]. Celmisia sp. pulchella tends to have a reddish color on the back of the flower, and the leaves are usually thinner (closer to linear than ovate), based on this I think this sighting is in the Celmisia asteliifolia complex. But without a shot of the underside of the leaves its difficult to be sure, perhaps CNM should have a intergrade taxon for the afor mentioned species complex as indentification to species level will be difficult bordering on impossible without good shots of the underside of the leaves and ripe seed (with scale). I think this one with have to be celmisia sp sorry Ned.
