User's notes

A flock of 18 gang gangs flew in, of mixed age and sex, and feasted excitedly among young blue gums(?) throughout the reserve. They were interested only in the longer leaves at the top of the trees, not the older rounded leaves near the trunk. When I looked closer, I think they were eating galls, which are were in abundance on each tree.
