A. hilaomorpha has a quoted wingspan of 20-22 mms, so with the wings folded its length would be about 1 cm, which fits in the size you quote of 5mm to 12mm. Bear in mind that Lepidoptera sizes are not fixed, but depend a good deal on the nourishment that the caterpillar gets before deciding to pupate. Your photo of the actual moth is a bit small, but increasing the gamma to about 2 reveals a large dark crescent on the forewing costa at the base, which appears to be distinct from the shadow cast by the surroundings, and is rather like that of A. hilaomorpha.
