A comment rather than a description: I know A. rubida is a local species however I doubt that it would naturally occur in that high numbers in the grassy woodland on Mt Majura's north slope. I suspect that invasion from Federal Highway plantings occur as we see with other Wattle species (i.e.Snowy River Wattle) and Grevillea (i.e. G. arenaria).
