Possibly a highlands copperhead. Spotted it on a hike near Square Rock, Namadgi NP (29/11/20).

Despite the failings of the image provided (no offence), the vertebral stripe is quite distinctive + morphology, lateral and dorsal colouration (tentatively) all strongly suggest Austrelaps ramsayi.
