Why did the email say "ibaird has suggested the following identification: Asura lydia (Lydia Lichen Moth)" when this webpage just says "Unidentified Yesterday JackyF" ?
I originally suggested A. lydia but then noticed this moth looks different to most A. lydia. It lacks a fully expressed adjacent tranverse yellow marking anterior to the three yellow marks on each forewing at the trailing edge of the forewing. However I now notice a minority of A. lydia specimens on the ALA also look like this.
