Empty. Another casemoth case, high in tree, entered as a separate sighting on advice of Donhe as he does not think they are the same species.

I think they are different species. Can you make them into different sightings lease.

Don - Thanks, I have removed the second photo and put it in as a separate sighting, although the casemoth was so high in the tree I could not get a decent photo, even after going back and trying again. For some reason, both of these sightings are showing a time of 1.18am, which would explain the terrible photos if it were true. Cheers, Jacky

This specimen appears to be reconstructing its case. It is unclear what the case will finally look like.

Interesting. That suggests that it extruded its body a bit too much during its construction work, and a bird managed to grab it.
