Tarweed: Long narrow leaves with a vein each side and parallel to the mid vein of the leaf, very sticky glandular hairs on the edges of the leaves. Leaves attached to stem with very short stalks

This was an early record (the first ?) of Madia sativa in Canberra Nature Map, soon after it had been discovered as a new species for Namadgi NP and the ACT.

John just checking that this is a different location along the Naas Valley Firetrail than the recently reported infestation near Franks and Jacks Hut.
