User's notes

Plant may possibly be much more abundant. Observed in lee of a eucalyptus juvenile, next dam, on wet soils. This plant was in an area where grazing pressure (kangaroos) was noticeably lower; similar-looking small dense bright green tussocks are quite common nearby but lack identifying features and reproductive structures, which have been nibbled off.

Thanks Jane Centolepis used to be on our rare plant list, as it is often overlooked, but we got quite a few sightings from CNM. I was expecting it to be more abundant with the recent wetter weather, but yes I suspect overgrazing is making it even harder to notice.
