Egg case, spider or other arthropod? About 3cm, inflated like a small cream balloon, tethered to log by web line to which small cut off squarish bits of wood have been fastened.

The cream sac might be an old egg sac of a huntsman spider. The object attached to it might belong to a case moth caterpillar.
