Rubus anglocandicans is the commonest blackberry in the CNM area. Rubus leucostachys is on the ACT plant list, though not yet recorded on CNM. It differs from anglocandicans in that it has occasional red topped long stalked glands, particularly on the flower stalks (probably needs a hand lens or macro app on your phone). Anglocandicans does not have such glands. Rubus ulmifolius has been recorded in the CNM area outside the ACT. It has low arched canes (anglocandicans is high arched) and also differs in the flowers.
