Possibly Eurybrachyidae, a tailed planthopper nymph? Sighted on a handrail in ANBG's Rainforest Gully moving backwards and forwards at speed.

Good idea. I suggested that species because the adults are so common here and I see so many instars.

I will confirm it as P. decemmacula simply because it seems to be the common species in the vicinity. If there are any other species locally, it would probably need a dedicated study to find out how to distinguish the immatures.
