Unless you have a collecting licence or are on private land you should not be collecting. As you're in the Canberra region Heino would be worth talking to about this. Message him. Heino would know everything that's involved with describing fungi. You are so very fortunate to have someone as knowledgeable as him in your region. I'm very interested in this genus and the species I'm seeing in your region are different to the ones I'm seeing in the region where I live.
