User's notes
Please cross reference to TomT's Gang-gang nestling sighting 4246442. As he notes, a pair of lorikeets entered the Gang-gang nesting hollow when the parents were absent. Two other lorikeets shrieked from nearby branches. I could hear the baby Gang-gangs growling, "GAAARGH!", trying to drive the lorikeets away. The lorikeets stayed for at least 15 minutes until a galah flew overhead. They flew away in a panic, probably thinking that the Gang-gang parents were returning. Tom's photos later in day show that the Gang-gang nestlings were apparently unharmed.
