The sequence of images shows 3 males competing to mate with a female. The female landed on a flower and then distinctly raised her abdomen into the air. A male approached and eventually mated (third image). Over a 1 minute period 3 matings were seen but it isn't known if just 1 or all 3 of the males were involved. (There was a lot of interaction between the males in the air adjacent to the female). After the 3rd mating the female lowered her abdomen back onto the flower, the males continued to interact and eventually they left to continue circling the two bushes, and the female left the area.
