Sorry I don't know my frogs. This little guy was about as big as my thumbnail. Heaps of little frogs and tadpoles, total number probably much higher.

Hard to tell from those photographs unfortunately, a lot of frog species identifiers are on the Snout, near the Thighs or on the Belly. From the patterns around the eyes, the colour and the vicinity it was found, it could be a Litoria verreauxi (Verreaux' Tree Frog). This is just a guess, as Karabar may be out of its normal range, although not by far, as it is seen from up above Byron Bay down to the middle of Victoria, primary close to the coast.

The frog is hard to see clearly - it looks like a small (juvenile) Litoria lesueurii - More photos might help.

I don't think this is vereauxii. Anke is probably on the mark for for best bet as lesuerii. Juveniles are always a problem.
