User's notes

A tiny insect peeking from the middle of a Thelymitra juncifolia flower. The scale in image 3 (of a similar flower, taken later) is in cm. I wonder if this might be a fairy wasp.

Very cute, but hard to identify without a better view.

I realised it was a long shot, but thought I'd just give it a try. It was the size of it that amazed me, and I thought that might be a clue in itself. Needless to say, I didn't see it at the time, only when I zoomed in on the computer screen.

Hi Cath. If you see one again you might catch it in a container (e.g. small jar) and try and get another shot of it. I'm curious to know what it is.

Thanks for your note about this sighting Kim, which you rejected as an insect sighting. I have reactivated it and and suggested Thelymitra juncifolia.
