Not prepared to call this one. Ryu, any thoughts?

MichaelB, could you add crops of the original images back to this for us? (I don't get an edit tab before this has been confirmed)

I have downloaded the originals and edited the photos as suggested by Ryu, adding back the cropped images.

Thanks all! Wonderful what you can do to identify the birds. Peter

Not 100% with that but pretty likely. I will get Chris to check

Square tail so I would go with Collared Sparrowhawk. Wings too broad for a falcon. Chris

Good point about the wings. The tail looks quite rounded to me though, I feel Brown Goshawk could be a better fit??
   14 Sep 2016
Unless the slight fanning is deceptive of tail feather length...

Ryu, I have asked for id help on this one and the agreement is Brown Goshawk, so a good call on your part.
