Lymantriinae (subfamily) (Unidentified tussock moths)


The caterpillars of this family are typically hairy and have two (usually red) dorsal glands toward the rear of the body. They often also have several dorsal tufts on the more anterior segments and can have long 'pencils' of hair on the head.
