Runcinia insecta (Pointed Runcinia)

"This species is similar to R. acuminata (Thorell, 1881) and differs in the shape of RTA which is elongated, narrow, with thumbshaped tip (Figs 71D, 72A, B) and position of the tip of embolus which is invisible – hidden behind the circle of tegular ridge" PAWEŁ SZYMKOWIAK 2014

R. insecta is the only currently described species of Runcinia in Australia.
