The forewings each have some variable dark markings,
including two dark broken wavy transverse lines.
The hindwings also each have one or two dark wavy transverse lines,
but they fade away as they approach the costas.
The head colour varies from yellow to grey.
The wingspan is about 1.5 cms.
In their natural resting pose, the moths hold their wings flat,
with the forewings covering the hindwings, like a Concorde aircraft.
