Pseudemoia rawlinsoni (Glossy Grass-skink)

Glossy Tussock-skink is one of six species belonging to the genus Pseudemonia, often referred to as cool skinks, which in turn belongs Eugongylus Group of skinks. There are four of the six species of the genus in the Canberra region.
Glossy Grass-skink is similar in appearance to Grassland Tussock Skink (P. pagenstecheri), although it lacks the reddish-orange lateral stripe and is glossy rather than mat.
Distribution: Glossy Grass-skink is found in alpine and high montane regions in the Canberra region and may overlap with Grassland Tussock-skink.
