Three moths have been caught and wrapped in web by a spider that I think is a juvenile female Celaenia excavata. The images show the spider turning the first moth ready to start feeding from its head end. Three mating pairs of the suggested moth were seen very close by (sighting 4746857). I hope that enough can be seen here to make a positive ID of the moth species as these spiders use pheromone mimicing to attract their moth prey. The much larger adult spider has been seen catching mostly Proteuxoa tortisigna, see sighting 4378642. The same spider is seen in sighting 4747173 by Rob Heard.
