Frogs calling at the dam in Namarang Reserve Whitlam.
Photo of frog and also video of a Littoria peronii calling, you can see his throat vibrating, very exciting. The Littoria peronii or Perons Tree Frog was happy to sit there with my torch shining on it.
I think I also saw a Litoria latopalmata or Broad palmed Rocket frog but that jumped away. You can hear them.
Initially I couldn't hear any Limnodynastes tasmaniensis or Spotted Grass frog from where I was standing but as I moved closer to the side closest to the hill and more reeds, I could hear them, recording Voice 261029_211740 another one.m4a
Also Crinia parinsignifera or Plains froglet and
Crinia signifera or Common Eastern froglet and
coming from behind and beside Uperoleia leavigata or Smooth Toadlet.
The website is not showing the video I uploaded and only showing one of the recordings I uploaded. Tried to fix twice so not sure what is going on. gorrieje
