User's notes

young firethorn, not treated & not mapped; it takes my old mob ages to get to an accuracy of around 12m so Im reluctant to map a single weed using the point tool; I assume gps coordinates for the CNM record are inaccurate too

MichaelMulvaney but I assume if I'm inaccurate with Field Maps I'm also inaccurate with CNM records; I know I am, because sometimes items grow on a road rather in the reserve. I have a old G3/G4 mobile; since G3 discontinued my device has difficulties to catch enough Sat data to calculate locations more precisely- at least that Is how I understand it.

You should check Field Maps as well. I used to have problems with my old phone and Nature Map because it often used phone towers and gave incorrect locations (sometime km wrong) but from memory Field Maps locations were okay because they relied on satellites, even if they took a while - clouds can obscure signals.
I don't worry too much about extreme accuracy for common weeds because there will always be more nearby. Many of mine are so big I can take the photos from several metres away and usually don't bother adjusting the location. I try to be accurate if I need to find a specific plant again or when it shows as being in someone's backyard. While accuracy is useful, 1, 10 or 100 metres is satisfactory depending on what you need from the information.

If you were sure it is a firethorn, you verify it. The photo is not good enough to tell. Cannot see the thorns, for example.
