An unusual type of Acacia paradoxa. The first photo shows the tree flowering a little later than the usual type, which is the darker blossom to the right of the photo in the background. The second photo shows the difference in height - the later flowering type is at least twice the height of the common type. Third photo is the closeup of the leaf and flower, as expected for A. paradoxa. The fourth photo shows the spines on the unusual plant - the stipules are slightly curved and soft, whereas the last photo shows the spines on a normal adjacent plant, much larger and sharp.
