Unfortunately the photo isn't clear enough for me to identify this plant. Was there anything in particular you saw that made you think of Aristida?

From what I can see of the structure of the inflorescence, the plant looks more like a native Poa or Digitaria rather than Aristida.

I am sorry the photo is so poor. Windy conditions made getting a good picture difficult. I will post better photos of another plant from the same area.

It's definitely not Eragrostis curvula. The seedheads were wrong for ALG.
