Any idea what this moth is doing? I don't think it's laying eggs. It looks more like it is trying to mate with the wall. :-o It was doing this for a very long time. It was there for at least half an hour and then I went inside so I don't know how much longer it stayed.

Is there couchgrass below? I can't see any eggs in the shots but that's what it looks like. 'What the Duck' on Radio National did a series recently called Sex Is Weird which might have some hints.
