User's notes
There were a few Pardalotes calling but this was the only pair I found. I watched one spreading its wings for quite a while and at first thought it was cooling off. It was only when it flew to the nest hollow that I realised I was just about standing under it and it was no doubt trying to scare me off. Interesting, as last year I watched a Crimson Rosella at the ANBG trying to dig out a hollow that had Striated Pardalote chicks inside. The parents just sat in a tree opposite watching rather than using any scare tactics.
