Very surprised to see the swirl of a trout, then see the trout itself! I think this is a bit late in the year, so although the picture is poor, am posting for my record keeping.

Thank you both. My understanding is that it is unusual to have trout here as the water warms, with the warmer weather?

Depending on local conditions browns are less heat tolerant than rainbow trout but both can get by with water temperatures of 18-20 degrees and sometimes a bit higher for short periods of time. They wont like a hot dry summer but can rebound quickly (or are stocked) when conditions improve.
